Well, folks it seems we won’t be seeing that Cranberries demo afterall. In response to a message I sent him about the subject via his myspace, Fergal Lawler ex-drummer for The Cranberries had this to say:

Hey Meghan,
   Hope all is well. Here’s the story…. shortly before christmas, Dolores called Noel and they got to discussing re-recording some parts on those old songs and mixing them.  Then in early January, a few days before we were due to begin, Noel received an email from Don Burton, Dolores’ husband and manager.  The email said that Dolores would be too busy with her solo career to spend time working on the songs. That is the last I heard. Hopefully we will return to them in the future. It is disappointing though.
